FAQ
ABOUT PERSONALIZING GOD SMILED
Is God Smiled appropriate for an adopted child?
Yes. At the beginning of the story, it says “On (date), in a happy place called (location), God gave (mother) and (father) a true miracle—a baby!” This could easily be personalized to include the date the adopted child arrived in the family or it could be the time and place of the actual birth, i.e., Beijing, China.
On the page asking who the child resembled at birth, a perfectly beautiful way to describe an adopted child who looks different from the parents is to say that he or she “looked like a little angel” or “looked like the baby they had always dreamed of!”
The beauty of God Smiled is that you can personalize it to tell each child’s unique story.
Can I include the child's middle name in the book?
Absolutely! You can even include more than one middle name in the “middle name” space, as long as the letter-and-space count for the child’s entire name does not exceed 52 letters.
I'm creating this book for a relative or friend's child and don't know all of these details. What should I do?
The many details about each child make God Smiled a unique gift, but we realize that accurately filling in the information requires a bit of thought. May we suggest contacting the child’s parent for specific information? If you tell them that you are creating a one-of-a-kind gift for their child, they’ll probably be happy to help—and it won’t spoil the surprise.
To help you gather the child's information, you can email an Order Blank Worksheet form. (Download here.) Once the parent fills it out and returns it to you, use the intormation to complete your book order online.
Can I give my personalization information on the phone?
Due to the extensive personalized nature of God Smiled, we cannot take information over the phone. To ensure correct spelling in all personalized areas, please proofread the personalization form carefully before placing your order.

ABOUT MUSTARD SEED FUNDRAISING
How do I contact the Company?
Who are the people behind Mustard Seed Fundraising?
Mustard Seed Fundraising was started by Kathleen Mueller and Jana Miller as a way to use their gifts and talents to serve churches and children. Both had years of experience with various product fundraisers through their children’s churches and schools. Both wondered why the fundraising products offered through faith-based schools and churches were always non-spiritual and most often consumable—pizza, cookie dough, etc. They set out to create a personalized book that would delight children and families with a message of God’s love while raising funds for important church and school programs.
One of the greatest blessings Kathleen and Jana found in starting Mustard Seed Fundraising was encountering artist and designer, Pam Fraizer. It had always been Pam’s dream to use her artistic talents to illustrate a children’s book. Sharing her faith in God made the project even more exciting to Pam. If you would like to see more of Pam’s work, check out www.FraizerDesigns.org.
